I survived the wilderness survival camp! This weekend was sooo packed with stuff i don't know if i;ll remember to put everything in this blog! I don't really know where to start but it was awesome So it all started on Friday where I went to UHS to get my report card and look at exam..blah blah blah. Then when i came back i made sure i packed everything and at around 3 i stuffed myself with food cuz i didnt want to be hungry on the first night there! So victor came and mike carpooled us to Everton Scouts CAmp...dun dun dun!
We started with a hike around the camp and we had a scenario. Then we went back to the campsite and practiced our BEAM-ing skills. We had to go rescue Ben and it took us so long to find him. Frankie had this extra bright light and we called it the "Chinese sun!" haha. so the search took quite a while but it was fun and then we went back to campsite and everyone on my team was hungry so we ate a whole pack of cookies..YUM I slept with vee and jess and apparently we were really loud and everyone could hear our "conversations" but we didnt talk! Anyways...
The second day started pertty early..we all woke up at 630 and had breakfast my team cooked some nice food Then we had some first aid review. and then we went for another hike after lunch and we got to rockclimb with no safety equipment but ppl underneath us. We had to get everyone up including rachel who had a broken arm and mike who was "blinded" and Angel the dog Of course no one got hurt cuz we're all so bright and careful After dinner we practised making fire for next night. Later in the night we had an obstacle course and we were in our teams again and everyone in our team was blindfolded but me cuz i was leading my team through the course and we werent allowed flashlights :-O. We approached this giant wall and i was freaking out cuz i thought it was an impossible task but of course we got through it meeehahah. And when we were done crossing the two logs, it was sooo dark...i couldnt see anything and i wasnt sure if i was leading my team the right way... im glad my team trusted me. meehaha. And afterwards we practiced some night vision skills. now i can see in the dark! And then some of us were stargazing..i saw 4 shooting stars! And it was my first time soo perdy We all lied in a circle with our heads in..it was so cute hahah. Me n brid were so "dumb" or "stupid" i was having difficulty breathing...so me n brid kept on laughing about opening my airway.muahahah.
Day 3
The mornign was more first aid and then we learned how to make a shelter and everything. then we were split into our groups to make one and afterwards we were to "tour around" to see everyone else's shelter but then of course there was another scenario. Rachel, Mandy and Carreau were stuck inside these two cliffs. Afterwards we had lunch and then everyone prepared for our water activities. So after lunch we went to this river and we all climbed these waterfalls which was fun fun fun. We all felt so dirty cuz no shower in two days...so refreshing then we got to climb up the river cliffs to dive into water which means more fun. Then of course we had to end the water fun and everyone got cleaned up and we hike some more. Oh yea..later in the night we learned how to STALK!! hahaha. and camouflage which is sooo freaky! Then of course the ultimate survival challenge came..we had to split into our teams and sleep outside without our tents and keep a fire goign the whole night. So my team (Frankie, Darwin, Jess and Vee) got a pretty nice place and we got there around 11 ish and me and jess went to find wood...we got everything done (shelter and fire) around 12...not sure. Darwin and his discovery channel was soo jks! we all sat on the sleeping mats outside and watched darwin trying to take care of the fire..but of course the princess couldnt so jess had to keep on cutting in for commercial breaks. We talked a lot and i got to practise my chinese!!! hahah. got sooo much misquito bites but it was worth it. Oh yea...there was thundering at the beginning and everyone was sooo scared....but it was only light rain so it was alright. We were surrounded by trees everywhere and we could have been struck by lightning!! So i think i got 2 hours of sleep or maybe even less. Dave and Joanne came for us around 730 in the morning..and we got some sugar from donuts Everyone was sooo tired. And they gave us time to sleep..how nice We had some more first aid and then it was time to leave it was such a fun weekend but now i have to study for my theory exam which is on friday!!
So overall, i think it was awesome awesome awesome! I didn't want to go at all in the beginning..cuz summer school just ended and i wanted some "alone time" haha. but of course now that i look back i think it should have been longer It was a weekend that.ill definitely never ever forget. Some very special ppl that made this weekend more enjoyable: Leo...my garbage bag..we from brooklyn!! Luc..seb is ghey-ness! and victor and his mutant laugh was soo funny! brid- my dumb buddy! My whole team..sai jess and sai vee. haha.linda my partner! and everyone else...rachel, mike, james cordon, ben and everyone else! Dont make fun of my laugh!! meehahaha. i was so tired when i got home. I took a shower and slept at around 430. I was planning to wake up around 7ish for dinner..but didnt wake up till 8 this morning!! Woww...crazy eh?! Thats 16 hrs of sleep and boy do i feel re-energized! so now im offf to study but ill blog more later. ciao bella...as brid would say | 
I finally finished my insurance classes last weekend...which means..yes i am able to drive...with insurance! yayyyy
